Recommended Read: Mind Sweeper, by AE Jones

I’m not really a fan of otherworldly paranormals where I can’t pronounce and have never heard of the creatures and realms they come from, but Mind Sweeper wasn’t so far out there I couldn’t suspend my disbelief and sit back and enjoy this fun ride.

What really entertained me about this book was the rich dynamic between the characters and the way they interacted with each other; smoothly but not without their secrets. I also have a strong affinity for a heroine character who would literally sacrifice herself for the man she loves (when she has a solid reason to, not a contrived, self-pitiable motivation). This book is an award winner for good reason.

An engaging story combined with Jones' excellent writing make Mind Sweeper a recommended read.

Mind Sweeper by AE Jones is available at Amazon

An angel, a demon and a vampire walk into a bar. Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but it’s just another day in the life of Kyle McKinley.

Kyle was born with the ability to erase memories, and the inability to keep her opinions to herself. She and her teammates – a vampire who looks like a sexy pirate with fangs, and a Shamat demon with a penchant for Italian pastries – provide supernatural damage control when humans see too much. Today’s problem? A sword-wielding angel and a demon had a supernatural smackdown during happy hour in a Cleveland bar, leaving behind a headless vampire and a dozen human witnesses.
